Criminal History Tour of the Woodlawn Triangle

Here’s an enjoyable way to walk off all those Thanksgiving goodies you ate while at the same time being regaled with some of Woodlawn's colorful criminal history, from its years as a trolley and train hub to the end of the 20th Century. It’s a mostly level walk, about 1.5 miles at a slow pace.  The talk, by Anjala Ehelebe, author of Portland’s Woodlawn Neighborhood, will be amplified and will include both rumors and facts. This is a rain or shine event, so dress for possible inclement weather. The tour will begin and end at Good Neighbor Pizzeria at 800 NE Dekum. Afterwards, if you like, you’re invited to join Anjala for a no host lunch at the pizzeria.
